Pink Pepper essential oil 5mL

Veronica was pregnant with her fifth child when she received news her husband was killed in a road accident near Nivasha, Africa. Veronica was forced to move from her home and take her children out of school. Through doTERRA’s Co-Impact Sourcing initiatives we harvest Pink Pepper from the Andes mountains of Peru and Kenya, which provides additional economic opportunity for the harvesters and their communities.

With the help of doTERRA’s partner, Fairoils’, and an app they use called Farmforce to weigh raw material on the spot and provide payment within 24 hours, at a previously agreed price, we’ve been able to help provide fair and on-time payments and give Kenya farmers the support they need to succeed.

Quick Facts

• The trees grow up to 15 m tall and require some work to harvest the peppercorns. 

• Harvesters usually climb the tree to pick the berries, or knock the berries with a stick to later collect them from the ground. 

• The berries are cleaned by removing the twigs and leaves, and then put into a crusher before distillation. 

• Sourcing Pink Pepper in both Peru and Kenya provides an additional economic opportunity for the harvesters, their families, and their communities.

Rwandan Peace Basket & doTERRA Peace Reassuring Blend 5mL

This set includes a uniquely coloured, randomly selected ornament Rwandan peace basket and a CPTG® dōTERRA Peace Reassuring Blend 5mL.

Nepal Dryer Balls with Wintergreen essential oil 15mL

Nepal Dryer Balls
The local women gather inside an airy, corrugated iron shed in Kathmandu, Nepal. Greeted by the diligent sound of an old Muskan sewing machine and mounds of ethically-sheered fleece, the women set to work pulling, shaping, rolling and bathing the soft, warm fabric by hand, until an army of white woollen balls carpet the floor out the back, each one perfectly similar to the next.

Some are here as part of a humanitarian program set up by Raksha Nepal to rescue and rehabilitate victims of sexual exploitation and trafficking in Nepal. Others are here to simply earn a livelihood by taking advantage of safe working conditions and fair wages.

As part of doTERRA’s Co-Impact Sourcing program, this initiative gives under-privileged women the skills they need to improve their economic wellbeing and gives us access to lovingly handcrafted Nepalese wool dryer balls.

Wintergreen essential oil
The fog hangs low on the snow-capped mountains of Nepal as the village women rise early to start their day. For many, the winding trek up the ridge is a daily ritual, and one they endure with pride to collect the shiny, aromatic leaves of the wild Wintergreen plant. The women descend from the forest with baskets on their heads weighing up to 30kg, brimming with leaves ready for community-based distillation.

For many local families, the sale of the Wintergreen leaves means they can afford to send their children to school and access essential items such as food and medicine.

The Co-Impact Sourcing initiative in Nepal allows doTERRA to source high quality Wintergreen oil while increasing the economic opportunity of harvesters in very remote regions of rural Nepal.

Nepal Dryer Balls with Wintergreen essential oil 15mL

Made with love, these handmade dryer balls and bag provide needed jobs and income to help improve the economic well-being of women in Kathmandu, Nepal. The balls are created from organic, chemical- and dye-free wool harvested according to international ethical sheering standards. 

Through dōTERRA’s Co-Impact Sourcing initiative, our source of Wintergreen comes from Nepal where it is wild harvested by villagers, then distilled by community-owned distillation facilities. This process creates increased economic opportunity for remote regions in rural Nepal.

Banksia Pod Diffuser with Litsea essential oil 15mL

The Banksia Seed Pod diffuser is a hand-made one-off piece that is finely crafted from the iconic and uniquely Australian Banksia seed pod.

This natural diffuser works by soaking up your favourite CPTG® essential oil. Simply fill it with essential oil, letting it soak in, repeat 2-3 times for your first time and repeat as needed. Best placed in smaller areas of your home or in areas like powder rooms, wardrobes, your car or on your bedside table or work desk! 

Each pod includes a CPTG® Litsea essential oil 15mL. Litsea’s lemon-like scent has hints of spice and citrus notes and has a wide range of aromatic uses, and you can add a drop or two for food flavouring.

• A royalty is paid to the Western Australian Forestry per seed pod, which goes to aid in forest management and conservation, while all efforts are made to ensure that the landscape is undisturbed and that the Banksia trees continue to thrive in the Australian bush.

• The Banksia Grandis is a prolific and distinctive Banksia tree found in the South West of Western Australia. This variety grows particularly large at a height of 5 – 15 metres. The large cylindrical yellow flowers reach up to 35 cm long.

• It takes 24 months from the time the tree produces the flower to the time the Banksia nut reaches maturity and is suitable for picking. The fact that the tree re-grows its pods over and over again makes the Banksia an incredibly renewable resource.
